Week 7: 19th & 21st October, 2026- Unit 2 and Erasmus Day

- We did 2B: Made in the USA.

- We saw vocabulary on colours and adjectives.

- We saw how to use adjectives and how to modify them.

- We practised long and short vowel sounds for pronunciation.

- We did a reading about British and American English.

- We revised how to study English with a video of a graddad learning to speak English to speak to his gradchild.

On Wednesday we were all invited to the different activities of our Erasmus Day event: Escape room, talk, singing and ruffle, with a light cocktail to round up the afternoon. All the information is here. 

Week 6: 15th October, 2026- Going on with Unit 2

- We revised the formation of plurals.

- We revised vocabulary os usual things.

- We saw new vocabulary on adjectives.

- We started unit 2B

Week 5: 5th & 7th October, 2026- End of unit 1 and beginning of unit 2

- We corrected our photocopy of possessive adjectives.

- We did the first writing of the book: Filling a form with personal information.

- We did Practical English with Ben and Izzy. Vocabulary of a hotel and checking in.

- We practised checking in in a hotel.

- We did an exercise of grabbing sentences and singing The Beatles Hello, Goodbye.

- We started unit 2 and saw vocabulary on Things.

- We saw how to make plurals and how to pronounce them.

Week 4: 28th & 30th September, 2026- Diagnostic test and possessive adjectives

Week 30: 27th & 29th April, 2026- Passive voice and revisions

- We corrected our photocopies of possessive pronouns, first conditional sentences, vocabulary of opposite verbs and get.
- We did the grammar and vocabulary revision of units 7&8.

- We revised some nationalities and how to use present and past passive voice in 10C.

- We practised how to talk about inventions.

Homework:

- Workbook up to unit 8 complete and 10C.

- Photocopy of superlatives and verbs followed by to infinitive.

- Revise and ask questions next day!

Week 29: 20th & 22nd April, 2026- Murphy's law and O'Henry's story

 - We practised giving advice for students with problems in cards.

- We read about Murphy's law and how to say it in English with first conditional sentences.

- We saw some of the different meanings of get.

- We practised the different meanings of verbs we tend to confuse in 8B.

- We read and listened to the beginning of Girl, a story by O´Henry to practise possessive pronouns: You must be mine!

- We read sonnet 18 by Shakespeare and understood its meaning: Shall I compare thee...
