Week 12: 27 & 29 November, 2023

 

- We revised the formation of questions in English with do/does.

- We saw vocabulary about jobs and the pronunciation of shwa and long e.

- We practised jobs and questions.

- We saw many more questions in a listening.

Homework: record yourself reading the sentences on page 41 ex. 3b and making the questions on page 41 ex. 4b. Grábate leyendo las frases del ejercicio 3b y haciendo las preguntas del ejercicio 4b, ambos de la página 41. Y mándamelo a gema.mazon@educa.madrid.org

Week 11: 20th & 22nd November, 2023- Verbs and Film Festival!!

 - We revised verb phrases.

- We checked the pronunciation of final -s in third person singular verb forms.

- We practised positive and negative verb forms.

- We read the reading in 3B and explained questions in the present simple form.

- We saw the trailer for Wallace & Gromit's The Wrong Trousers and the complete short film.We did some activities from it.

Homework:

- Writing ex 5 3A and photocopy 3B

Week 10: 13 & 15 November, 2023- Unit 3- Verbs and Britain

- We revised imperatives and adjectives.

- We did the revision exercises for units 1 and 2.

- We started unit 3 with a lot of vocabulary of verb phrases.

- We saw the present simple in the positive and negative.

- We did a dictation on the UK. 

Homework: reading exercise 4 page 23.
 

Week 9: 6 & 8 November, 2023- Finishing unit 2

 

- We revised the use of adjectives.

- We saw vocabulary about feelings and we saw how to use imperatives and suggestions with Let's.

- We saw how to link words in a sentence.

Homework:

- Grammar, Vocabulary and Reading parts on pages 30 and 31.

Week 8: 30th October, 2023- Descriptions and more mysteries in Halloween

 

- We revised the use of adjectives in English.

- We practised long and short vowels.

- We described things in our bags.

- We found differences in images.

- We saw a mystery video to celebrate Halloween, The Magic Plant.
