Week 8: 28th & 30th October, 2024- Adjectives, imperatives and Halloween!

- We started unit 2B with adjectives of colours and many more adjectives.

- We saw how to use adjectives.

- We saw how to pronounce adjectives and compared two sets of images.

- We read about differences between British and American English.

- We saw vocabulary for different feelings in 2C.

- We saw how to use imperatives and suggestions with Let's.

- We learned some Halloween words here.

- We saw a mysterious video about a Lift. 

Homework: You can do 2B and 2C of the workbook.

Week 7: 21st & 23rd October- Starting unit 2: Plurals

- We compared a tidy and an untidy room and learned more vocabulary of things.

- We saw how to make the plurals in English, regualr and irregular.

- We saw how to pronounce plurals.

- We practised three prepositions: in, on, under.

Homework:

- Workbook unit 2A and photocopy.

Week 6: 14th& 16th October, 2024- Practical English

- We saw vocabulary for hotels.

- We practise how to arrive at a hotel.

- We saw American and British English.

- We saw Can you...? and Can I have...?

- We saw Would you like...? to offer somebody a drink and accept it or refuse it.

Week 5: 7th & 9th October, 2024- Questions and Possessives

 

- We revised classroom language and questions and answers.

- We saw the alphabet and how to spell. We saw abbreviations.

- We saw possessive adjectives in English.

- We exchanged questions about famous people.

- We practised with The Beatles Hello, Goodbye

Homework: Photocopy grammar 1B &1C, workbook 1C and writing page 13.

Week 4: September 30th & October 2nd, 2024- Negatives and questions

 - We studied how to to ask questions and say negative sentences with verb to be and some interviews in the Opympics.

- We practised short answers in questions.

- We practised nationalities and countries.

- We studied numbers 20 to 100.

- We studied classroom language.
